External Transmission Policy
Sketch Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “the Company”) engages in the transmission of user-related information, such as Cookies, to partner companies (hereinafter referred to as “External Transmission”) for purposes such as improving our services. In accordance with Article 27-12 of the Telecommunications Business Act and other relevant laws and regulations, this policy discloses information regarding such External Transmission.
When using the services of partner companies, we transmit information about users of our services while respecting their privacy. The transmitted information is managed and utilized by each external service provider in accordance with their own privacy policies and related regulations.
1. Purposes of Information Transmission via Our Services
Our services transmit information for the following purposes. For details on the purposes of use by the recipients, please refer to “3. List of External Transmission Destinations” and check the privacy policies of each recipient.
(1) To place and distribute advertisements as part of our own advertising business
We display advertisements in the advertising spaces of our services.
(2) To distribute advertisements and content via third-party advertisement distribution services
Some of the advertisements and content displayed on our site are distributed by third-party providers.
(3) To analyze viewing trends and history
We collect behavioral history information on our services to analyze viewing tendencies and behavioral history.
(4) To analyze advertising effectiveness
We collect information on advertisements viewed, clicked, and user behavioral history on our services to measure and analyze advertising performance.
(5) To manage external transmission programs
We manage the external transmission programs used in our services.
2. Information Transmitted via Our Services

5. Reference
(1) What is External Transmission?
Under the Telecommunications Business Act, “External Transmission” refers to telecommunications conducted by telecommunications carriers that provide communication services, in which communications necessary for providing such services are transmitted to external users or other businesses using communication lines or transmission facilities.
The Telecommunications Business Act requires the application of appropriate technical and administrative regulations to such External Transmission in order to promote fair competition among telecommunications carriers and to protect the interests of users.
・What is a Cookie?
When you use a web page, information such as usage history and input details exchanged between your browser and the server is stored as a file on your computer. When you access the same page again, the stored Cookie information allows the page operator to adjust the display for each user. If your browser is set to allow the sending and receiving of Cookies, websites can obtain Cookies from your browser. For privacy protection, your browser will only send Cookies exchanged with that specific website’s server.
(2) What is the External Transmission Regulation?
The External Transmission Regulation under the Telecommunications Business Act stipulates the procedures for providing information when a telecommunications carrier transmits user information to external parties.
Specifically, telecommunications carriers must notify or publicly disclose (in an easily accessible manner) the following information to users:
・The content of the user information being transmitted
・The name of the entity that will handle the transmitted information
・The purpose for which the transmitted information will be used
In this way, telecommunications carriers are required to respect the privacy of users and to transmit user information externally only after providing appropriate notice or public disclosure.
(3) What is Opt-Out?
An opt-out means that a link is provided by the recipient, and by clicking on it, you can stop the transmission of information or its use. Please note that in most cases, information indicating the completion of the opt-out process is stored in your browser. Therefore, if you use a different PC, smartphone, or browser, you will need to opt out again for each environment.
